As a coach, you will be asked to share advice about certain decisions, some which will be confidential in nature. Your success in these conversations and through these situations will depend on how well you have and continue to develop a trusting and open relationship.

Developing a confidential and intimate coaching relationship is about creating spaces in which the leader feels comfortable bringing their concerns to the conversation. A coach shows the leader respect by listening carefully and attentively to the leader, asking how to be helpful and supportive. Personal information is never disclosed.
